Dr. Wu is an Associate Professor in the Master of Public Health program and Chair of the Dof Pharmacy Administration and Public Health in St. John’s College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences.
Dr. Wu is passionate about the opportunity to provide the University’s culturally diverse student body with a public health education. Through programs and fieldwork that include nutrition, mother and child care, families living with and at risk for HIV/AIDS, and more, Dr. Wu and his fellow faculty work side by side with students pursuing a cutting-edge degree in public health.
Research: Dr. Wu is applying network meta-analysis for indirect comparison in comparative effectiveness research. Dr. Wu is also working on economic analyses of healthcare programs.
Practice: Served as a statistical consultant for hospitals and pharmaceutical companies, as well as a clinical professor in the areas of medication safety and outcomes research. Dr. Wu has mentored many graduate students in research projects focusing on health disparities and medication use. These include pharmacist participation in medical rounds, patients’ product-purchasing decisions, and health outcomes.
